Rubbing shoulders with genuine icons

Alongside our work with Edward Sexton across the new Shopify 2.0 theme update for the brand’s ecommerce presence, we were asked to work alongside Peter Saville. Peter is widely considered to be one of the most influential graphic designers of the 20th century, and is best known for his work on the album covers for the post-punk bands Joy Division and New Order, as well as his contribution to the graphic design of the Factory Records label.

Partnering with legendary graphic designer Peter Saville, the team worked on a fresh set of brand marks that would show an evolutionary state and not a revolutionary one. The outcome? A luxurious colour palette sat alongside a new typography system, rooted in editorial inspiration.
